I am not sure if this us the kind of thing you would be able to help with, but here we go, I've have just brought a five month old black velvet chinny, he is eating and drinking and taking his sand baths, but i have noticed a small round lump on this spine, any ideas!!!!!!

Comments: We have just had our adorable grey Chinchilla Speedi put to sleep 5 days ago with teeth problems after 9 wonderful years with him. I don't know how we will carry on without him. He was just so special.

Comments: Three trips to an excellent independent pet store over 3 months acquired us 3 Chins (F-3 year likely pregnant, M-6 mo., M-3 year)...have not introduced #3 to others but will do so slowly and with caution.
Will take a break buying and may give back babie(s)to the pet store if healthy. Will need to expand cages before adding and would next add either a rescue or senior, etc.
I'm surprised how many wonderful websites are dedicated to chinchilla's and "cheeky...c' is very outstanding. Thanks to all who labor and care over these uniquely adorable creatures!.
