Comments: Ive been wanting to get a Chinchilla for a while now. My mom said i could get one if she could see a real one so we are goinbg to go to a local pet store and if my mom says ok im going to get a chinchilla... but should i start off with a young one or and older one?

Comments: My sons and I now own two cute little boys. Our oldest, "Mason" is a year old who thinks and acts like he owns everything. We just adopted his baby brother who is just a little over 3 months. When we first got "Remy", we were hesitant about putting him in with "Mason" and it took us a little over a month, but we would let them out to run around the house together. They play and fight like siblings do, but now they are in the same cage and doing very well together. "Mason" is very protective of his younger brother and "Remy" enjoys it sometimes, but other times lets his brother know that he can take care of himself. They are wonderful to be with, to watch and interact with when they let us.

Comments: Hi! This site ia awsome! It has helped me take care of my little chinny soooo much! I have a quick question( i know this is a guest book not an advice colomn but you dont have one so heres my question). I have ONE chinchilla ( named Bitty), and hes one year and three months old. If i wanted to get another chinnie and have them be friends, would bitty be to old to get a new friend? Or is he still young enough? Thanks in advance!
