Comments: Hello, I am a new chini owner. I love my chini Ava and want to make sure she is cared for properly. I can't seem to get a straight answer online regarding whether or not I need to have her teeth/nails trimmed or if they do they do this on their own?

Comments: Hi! A few months ago I was living in NY, USA and I got my female chin - Bella. Your website really helped me learn all about her. Anyway, we moved to FL USA 2 months ago. She is really happy, lots of exercise and play. She is eating great, but, I had left the cats water dish out, and she started drinking from that - she was very careful about not getting wet. Now she has stopped drinking from her water bottle in the cage, and waits for playtime - heading straight to where the cats water dish was. I put out a bowl for her and she drinks from it. Any thoughts on if it would be a problem if I put a small water dish into her habitat? She has a large ferret nation habitat where her food and drink are on its own level away from toys, chews, house, hsmmocks and bedding.

Comments: Just got our 2 chinnies a week ago. The oldest (Chief) had to be rescued from a breeder and he's been through the wars a bit, 1 leg missing and completely blind but he's in a good home now and your sites going to help make sure he gets the very best care!!! He's settling in very well so far along with his son Bear.
