Comments: Thank you for your very informative site. I have wanted a Chinchilla for 19 years now & am finally in a position to get one. After all the years of reading info on them & preparing for the day I might have one, I can honestly say your site has helped me lots, as it is fantastic at covering care & possible scenarios in such a succint yet clear way! (It also helps reinforce the care of our degus & bunny.) Thanks again. PS -- I love the video of you handfeeding Nenya. So adorable.....
Admin reply: Thank you for your very kind comments. I am so pleased you found the site informative. It's always a good idea to read as much ad you can from as many different sources as you can. Hope your degus and bunnies are all well. Thanks again. Cheeky Chinchilas

Comments: Very informative, well written / explained website. I have recently purchased Alfie a 5 mth old little rascal. I had my last Chin Harry for 8 years, I was heart broken when I lost him and it's taken a long time (nearly 2 years!) to purchase another one! Alfie has only been with me for a few days and already he enjoys a tickle under the chin and behind the ears, he's even happy having snuggles! I'm looking forward to building a fun relationship with my little buddy! Keep up the good work x
Admin reply: Thank you for visiting and your very kind comments. I am so sorry to hear about Harry. It's very sad when we lose a pet. You will always have some special memories of him in your heart. Sounds as if Alfie is already settling in...I am sure you will soon have a special bond. Cheeky Chinchillas

Comments: I love my wee chinchys Mr Cheech and Mr Chong, I got them after they were rescued and were already adult so I know little of their background. I have had them for about 4 years now and in this time Mr Chong has had 2 seizures which my vet can't explain, they are very frightening as his whole body goes limp and this shows no sign of improvement in both these cases the emergency vet was called as all emergency's happen out of hours who administered a anti inflammatory injection and about 6 hours after this he looks semi normal, I was told by my vet he probably had a broken back!!! And there was talk of putting him to sleep! What a nightmare. I wonder if anyones chinchy does the same thing, the only seizures I seem to read about don't last long. This is a brilliant site, very informative. I have found out more on here than any other chinchilla site and believe me I have been on a lot. Keep up the good work and thank you.
