ohh and since im here already... ive tried gizmo on many different hays, when he was still a baby i gave him lots of alfalfa because its got plenty of protein so i guessed itd be good for him whilst hes still growing and all.. i mixed it with meadow hay but hed only eat a bit of this. when he got to about 6 months i started trying him on new hays as i heard too much alfalfa wastnt good, and since ive tried loads of different types. But hed only eat a tiny amount no matter what hay was there. ive now been buying oxbow western timothy hay, and he eats loads of it!! id say around a very good handful every day! would it be ok to keep him on this hay? he loves it, but i wanna be sure its a good thing!

i just want to say thankyou very much for your help. i emailed you for info just before i got my baby Gizmo, and i followed your instructions on cage placement ect, ive recently moved from plymouth (where i lived breifly, also where gizmo came from) back to birmingham, (he was suprisingly good with the car ride) and im happy to say hes now 1 year and 2 months old, and a very happy, spoilt fluffball! hes the best thing thats ever happened to me, and im very grateful to you for your advice and help, thankyou!!! kimmey xx

I really like this sit. I just got my first chinchilla last month. Her name is Willow and she is a cinnomon chinchilla. I love her sooo much. Thanks for all the help this site has given me.

when I first got my chinchilla I thought I was like the only one to have one but then I found this site and soon relised that alot of people had them witch made it less exciting that i had one. When it came down to looking after them the site came in handy.

This sight is great i am so glad to have finaly found poeple who have the same pet as me until now i thought i was like the only one who had a chinchilla thats how uncmmen they were anywhy i would recommend this sight to anyone who was a first time owner of thgis sort of pet or even someone who ha sall resdy had one. :cool:

i really love this site,i have chinchillas of my own and it gave me some good tips on how i can look after them better.it's also really handy if i have any questions about my chinchillas because i can just look it up and find the answer and even if you don't have chinchillas its still really fun with all the games and everything!!!
