What a great informative site.I am rehoming a Chinchilla in 12 days time ( not that im counting !!).Am returning to keeping these wonderful little Furrballs after quite a while.So i choose this site to refresh myself with their wellbeing.Its Superb .Its on my "Favourite List " now .I wiil be back again .!!!!!!!!

Comments: What an amazing and informative site for Chilla lovers! Love the pictures and have entered the competition too. My partner and I have 3 Chilla's, 1 grey male called Nosy, (his brother Dozy another grey sadly died), and two females, a grey called Misty and a white called Angel,she looks like a demon with her red eyes and she is very naughty too! Comments: I really love chinchillas + I think they are the most beautifull things in the world but my parents wont let me have any because we live abroad; but when we come back to the uk forever they say I can have loads of chinchillas and even breed them (all the different colours) maybe in 2011 I cant wait:-) But the sad thing is i'll have to leave my friends:-( But at least i'll have chinchillas to talk to to share my feelings with:-).

Comments: Hi, Have just aquired chinchillas over the last 4 days after having a break from the breed for a few years, my last chin was absolutely gorgeous but unfortunately fell of the shelf onto his bath and broke his back, so upsetting. We now have 2 males, a mosaiac called dusty aged 5, a hetero ebony called Frankie aged 2( short for Frankeinstein !!) and 2 females, a beige called freckles aged 4 and 1 10 week baby beige called cuddles (might have to rename her though !!) Despite having had chinchillas previously found your site to be so helpful, full of helpful information, etc and the pictures of other peoples chins are so cute, thanks for all your hard work, good luck in all you do.

Comments: I think there might be something wrong with my 11 month old chinchilla Roxy, she has suddenly become very quite and will not come up to me anymore. She will no longer take treats from my hand and sits in one corner all day. she shares her cage with my 15 month old chinchilla Jayni, and they get along fine. Jayni is perfectly active but Roxy no longer wants to come out of her cage to play outside of it.
What should I do to get my active and playful chin back?
